Job Description


The Temporary Industrial Technician will be working to use forklift, high-pressure washer, and other hand tools to clean and prepare the equipment for sale. This position is a full-time, temporary position that is estimated to be completed by July 31, 2021; however, it may extend. This position will require full personal protective equipment (PPE) to be worn for the shift due to working in a lead haz mat environment. Teamwork and cooperation are required, as this person will work in a team of two while on the industrial floor to ensure safety. PPE includes a full respirator and requires the person to take a shower after leaving the manufacturing floor before going to 30-minute lunch or at the end of the shift. Showers and lockers are provided on-site. This position will play a key role leading Aqua Metals to its next level of organizational evolution with goal to increase global lead production without increasing emissions using AquaRefining.


  • Working at heights from 0 to 40 feet using high-pressure washer to remove lead and prepare industrial equipment for sale
  • Use forklift to move materials and equipment (preferred)
  • Use scissor lift, boom lift, and other equipment to clean equipment, while using high-pressure washer (preferred)
  • Use of floor scrubber, which is driven by one operator.
  • Wearing full PPE, including Tyvek suit, gloves, overshoes, and full-face respirator for entire shift
  • Work in lead haz-mat environment; decontaminate equipment
  • Good listener and must follow instructions to meet the temporary project individually and in teams
  • Responsible organizing and moving materials/equipment, cleaning equipment and other areas
  • Work with hand tools; mechanically oriented (likes to take stuff apart and put back together)
  • Disassemble equipment and recycle scrap metal as needed
  • Work safely and take shower after shift before leaving for 30-minute lunch and end of shift
  • Able to use iPad to complete forms

  • 1 year of forklift experience (preferred)
  • 1 year of scissor lift experience (preferred)
  • High School Diploma
  • 1 years of experience within field
